Erlas Victorian Walled Garden Welcomes You

Erlas Victorian Walled Garden is based in Wrexham and aims to promote and protect the health of people with disabilities by providing meaningful daytime activity, education and work experience in a garden business environment, allowing individuals to develop their mental and physical capabilities, thus improving their quality of life.

In achieving this we promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of Erlas Victorian Walled Garden, for the education and enjoyment of the public.

We welcome visitors Monday – Friday 11:00 – 15:00 for the purchase of plants and seasonal vegetables. In addition we hold a number of events during the year.

Forthcoming Events:

CANCELLED – National Garden Scheme – 13th September 2020

EVENT CANCELLED  It is with deep regret that due to the current COVID-19 lockdown and with the garden currently closed to visitors, the staff and trustees of EVWG have had to take the decision to cancel the 2020 NGS Open Day.

Sunday 13th September 10:30am – 3:30pm will see us open once again for the National Garden Scheme (NGS). We are delighted that following the success of the 2019 NGS open days, we will be open again in 2020 and September is a wonderful time of year in our garden, with the vibrant summer colours still very much in evidence and our fruit and vegetables at their peak. There is an entrance fee of £3.50 for adults, children under 16 are free; all admission proceeds go to the NGS charities. There will plenty of opportunity for refreshments and the purchase of our produce, the proceeds from which go directly to supporting our work with vulnerable adults.
