Coronavirus and the Erlas Victorian Walled Garden

At EVWG we are conscious of the vulnerable nature of some of our beneficiaries and volunteers. We are closely monitoring the advice given by the UK and Welsh governments and the Public Health authorities and we will update our advice in line with the latest information.

Below is how we as an organisation are responding.

1          If you have recently travelled to a high risk country as defined by the UK Government you should self-isolate for 14 days. This means do NOT come to EVWG. Please ring or email us if this is the case.

2          If you have developed symptoms of COVID-19 (high temperature, persistent cough and/or shortness of breath), you should also self isolate and follow government advice. Do NOT come to EVWG. Please ring or email us if this is the case.

3          If you are suffering from a heavy cold or flu you should stay away from EVWG for seven days. Please ring or email us if this is the case. If the symptoms pass in that time you may return to the garden. If they persist you should follow government advice. Again, please contact us if this is the case.

4          It appears those over 70 may be asked to self isolate in the near future. If this is the case, we will update this advice.

Here is some guidance on the Coronavirus, how to try to avoid it and what you should do if you develop symptoms.
