Autumn Update

As Summer came to a wet end and Autumn started with equally damp weather, there was still much activity in the garden; beautiful late colours as well as delicious fruit and vegetables in our well stocked shop. Craft classes continued to be a hive of activity, we welcomed new members and said goodbye to our fundraiser Kate who left us for pastures anew.

Outside Brian and James were tidying up the tool room
Rez was tidying up outside the greenhouse
Following the monsoon style rainfall and the damage the excessive water caused to the paths, Rob and Peter were building a drainage channel to divert the excess water away from the main garden.
We had a visit from the ‘Wrexham Farmers Wives Association’, who enjoyed a beautiful evening walk around the garden followed by refreshments in the roundhouse
We welcomed a volunteer working party from the DWP, who made a great job of tidying up the west garden perimeter wall.
