It was a beautiful early September day in the garden on Tuesday 3rd; the sun was out and the garden was alive with plenty of butterflies sunning themselves. They didn’t respond to requests to stay still long enough to get a decent photo, but they were a beautiful sight none the less.
The gardeners were out in force again, fighting the never ending battle with the weeds.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our next open day which is on Sunday 15th September when we will be open to visitors under the National Garden Scheme (NGS) from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Admission is £3.50 for adults with under 16s free, proceeds from the entrance fees go to the NGS charities with sales of plants, vegetables and refreshments helping to fund the Erlas project.
