Although we have had all sorts of weather at the gardens, there are always lots of things to do! The robins certainly enjoy our weeding as there is always something unearthed to eat!
Tidying up our ‘local seed provenance project’ keeps everyone busy, although there is often time to sit and enjoy the February sunshine, as Ray, Ian and Stephen are doing.
We like to keep in touch with friends who we no longer see so often. We were so sad when Jan, a former student, passed away last year after a long illness. To celebrate some of Jan’s art work, her mum Mary, and her carer Chris, were invited for afternoon tea last Tuesday. Here you can see Mary and Chris admiring Jan’s painting.
