We always welcome new volunteers to help us out both in the gardens and in the classes we run each week. We are currently looking for a number of volunteers who would like to run/help out in our Art Classes, in our sewing class, and to run accredited basic qualifications in horticulture and in environmental studies.
Our Art classes are currently held on Monday and Friday mornings, and here you can see some of the creative work that our students enjoy doing.
We are also interested in anyone who has had experience in teaching at AGORED Entry Level, in Horticulture /Environmental Studies/Healthy Lifestyles. The gardens and woodlands are the ideal ‘resource’ for many interesting projects, and our students really enjoy learning more about their environment, gardening, and the food they eat. These classes are currently held on Tuesday mornings, but there is some flexibility if you are interested.
Finally, we are looking for someone to help out in our sewing/craft class, which is held on a Tuesday afternoon. In warmer weather, the class can be taken outside, and is enjoyed by students and volunteers alike.
If you are interested in any of these vacancies, or would just like to find out more about what we do here, then please contact either Libby, Jane or Ann on 01978265058, or via our e-mail address: info@erlas.org.
Thanks!
