A digger and banksman from Scottish Power Energy Networks have been digging the footings for 7 raised beds for our next project in the West Garden today. £9076 came from the People’s Postcode Lottery (The Postcode Local Trust) for bricks, equipment and materials to build 7 large raised brick flower beds, with wheelchair access, to enable physically disabled people to join in gardening activities. Apprentices from Bersham Road, Coleg Cambria, will be learning brick-working skills as the walls are built, as well as Armed Forces Veterans.
Thanks again to Scottish Power for helping us out, and we hope to see you again soon! (perhaps to in fill the earth when the walls are built!).
