Erlas Garden Gallery

This year, summer has brought weeks of intense sunshine and very little rain. While the long, warm days have been wonderful to enjoy, they have also tested the garden. Lawns have faded, young plants have needed constant care, and every drop of water has become precious. Yet through the dedication of our beneficiaries, volunteers and staff, the garden has continued to thrive. Countless hours of watering, nurturing and teamwork have helped sustain this special place through one of the driest summers in recent memory.

Beyond the flower beds and vegetable plots, the season has been filled with growth in every sense. New projects have taken shape, our woodland continues to develop, and visitors have joined us for community events, open days and celebrations that have filled the garden with laughter and conversation. Summer reminds us that Erlas is far more than a garden—it is a place where people grow in confidence, friendships blossom, and everyone has the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

As you explore this gallery, we hope you’ll catch a glimpse of those moments: the beauty of a flower in full bloom, the satisfaction of a successful harvest, the joy of working together, and the quiet determination that keeps Erlas flourishing, whatever the weather. Every photograph tells part of the story of a remarkable community and a garden cared for with pride, compassion and hope. 💚
