Erlas Victorian Walled Garden receives the prestigious Ruth Howarth Award at Civic Ceremony

On Friday 18th November, Geoff, Libby and Ann were invited to the annual Civic Ceremony at St Margaret’s Community Hall, Wrexham.

We were very surprised and delighted, when we heard we had been nominated for and had won the Ruth Howarth Award for an Outstanding Contribution to the Quality of the Environment.

Here you can see Geoff talking with our Patron, Lesley Griffiths, AM, before the Award.

This has been a huge achievement for our organisation, and we feel that the hard work of volunteers, students and staff has not gone unrecognised by our community over the past 14 years.
